I've never liked the stock p bass bridge, the omega is supposed to be a copy of the badass bridge. I've never played a badass bridge so I have no idea. I do believe these bridges increase sustain, and help with intonation. They are a solid foundation for your tone and as a bonus, they look cool.

It is very easy using a small file (triangle or square) but don't do it if you are not sure. A grove too deep can kill the overtones.
